The APS is keen to hear of original case reports which may be of interest to your pain colleagues.
We'd especially like to hear from you if the case provides teaching points and insights which may advance practice, have a multidisciplinary feel and / or may have a broader impact on the pain management community of practice.
Case reports are accepted as a poster presentation and should include:
Background
Why is this case particularly important? Please include information on whether this is the first report of this kind in the literature.
Case Presentation
This section should include demographic information (age, sex, ethnic background) of your patients, as well as the presenting complaint, findings, investigations and treatments.
Conclusions
Conclusions should provide a brief conclusion of what the reader should learn from the case report and what the clinical impact will be.
Clinical Impact
Including recommendations or implications for future practice.
