Registration Inclusions
Registration for full registrants includes entry into all scientific sessions, access to the conference app, attendance e-certificate, morning, afternoon teas and lunches on each day of the conference, APS Discipline Sub-Group Meetings and the Welcome Reception on Sunday 13 April 2025.
Day registration includes entry into all scientific sessions, access to the conference app, attendance e-certificate, morning, afternoon teas and lunch on the day of registration.
A registration fee for the Welcome Reception is applicable for registrants that are not attending the full APS meeting (i.e.day registrants, those registering for a Sunday pre-conference workshop only, and all accompanying guests).
Payment
Delegates are encouraged to pay via credit card (Mastercard or Visa) at the time of registration. Payment can also be made by direct transfer, please quote invoice number when transferring funds electronically. EFT details can be found on your invoice. Cheques should be made payable to the Australian Pain Society Conference.
Registration Cancellation Policy
If notification of cancellation is made in writing to the Conference Secretariat prior to Tuesday 18 February 2025, a full refund will be given (less an AU$175 processing fee). After this date no refund will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted. Refunds for social functions will be given at the discretion of the Conference Secretariat.

Early Bird Registration Fees
Early bird registration fees are applicable for delegates who have registered before 18 February 2025. Please note, any early bird registrations not paid for by 11 March 2025 will automatically be amended and invoiced to the standard registration fee.
Standard Registration Fees
Standard registration fees are applicable for delegates who have registered after 18 February 2025. Please note, any standard registrations not paid for by 8 April 2025 will automatically be amended and invoiced to the late registration fee, this includes any delegates who originally registered at the early bird rate.
Liability / Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Neither the Australian Pain Society nor DC Conference & Association Management will accept liability for, but not limited to:
* Damages of any nature (including financial) sustained by participants, or loss or damage to their personal property in the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, loss;
* Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference or through cancellation of the Conference;
* Loss of international/domestic air fares or accommodation through cancellation for any reason;
* Medical Expenses.
Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate and should be purchased in your country of origin. Delegates are strongly recommended to take out a suitable travel insurance policy including coverage for non-refundable registration fees when you register for the meeting and book your travel.
Force Majeure
The Conference Secretariat shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the unavailability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without fault or negligence. For one or more of such reasons, the Conference Secretariat and any co-organisers of the meeting may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of Conference Secretariat and any co-organisers of the meeting. In the event the meeting cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, the Conference Secretariat and any co-organisers of the meeting shall not be liable to attendee for any direct, consequential or incidental damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.
Photography
There will be photographs taken throughout the conference and at the social events. These may be used for promotional activities, including the APS website and on social media. If you do not want your photograph taken, or used, please notify the photographer onsite.
Registrations from Commercial Entities
If you are from a commercial entity and wish to attend an APS ASM, your registration must be connected to the commercial entity supporting the conference and will show as an exhibition registration.
Please contact the Conference Organiser to discuss booth options if you haven’t already secured your booth.
No delegate registrations of any kind will be accepted from commercial entities.
