Stroke Rehabilitation Research

Establishing Collaborations and Priorities in Clinical and Translational Stroke Rehabilitation Research

The objective of this satellite is to establish national & international networks and priorities for stroke rehabilitation research.

It is aimed at experienced stroke clinicians and researchers including basic scientists and has the following goals:

  • Identifying current high priority directions of stroke rehabilitation research
  • Identifying priorities for near future research in stroke rehabilitation and recovery
  • Developing networks and collaborations in stroke rehabilitation research to facilitate priorities and coordination of research programs
  • Facilitate processes that help define/achieve consensus around standards and measures in stroke rehabilitation and recovery research
  • Facilitate communication and planning between basic science researchers and clinical researchers
