All onsite payment rooms are BOOKED OUT for both The Hilton South Wharf and The Grand Hotel Melbourne. For any accomodation requests please contact the

Block bookings at special rates have been made with the hotels and apartments listed below. Please book your accommodation through the SSA 2016 Conference Secretariat via the online conference registration page to obtain these rates. A credit card number is required to secure your booking:

• Prepay rooms - credit card will be charged at the time of booking
• Onsite payments rooms - credit card held for security only, delegates will settle the balance of their account with the hotel on departure. FULL

Cancellations and changes should be made through the SSA 2016 Conference Secretariat only. There is no guarantee that cancellations made within 45 days of the arrival date will receive a full refund as hotels reserve the right to charge a fee equal to one (1) night's accommodation or the full duration of the stay on any rooms cancelled within 45 days of the accommodation arrival date.

Grand Hotel Melbourne

The historic Grand Hotel Melbourne is one of Victoria's treasured heritage buildings containing spacious self-contained apartments furnished with modern kitchen. Located on Spencer Street between Flinders and Collins Streets, the Grand Hotel Melbourne is a short 10 to 15 minute walk from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Deluxe two bedroom apartments - $319 per room per night- FULL 

One bedroom apartments include a seperate bedroom with ensuite and 1 x king bed along with full kitchen and living space.
Two bedroom apartments include two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs with fully self contained kitchen with living and dining facilities downstairs.  Apartments contain 1 x king bed and 1 x queen bed.
