Invitation

On behalf of the Spine Society of Australia I extend a warm invitation to our industry partners to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Spine Society of Australia, being held at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth from 19-21 April 2013.

The theme of this year’s meeting is Acute spinal cord injury – current and future treatments.

We are pleased to announce the following invited international speakers - Professor Michael Fehlings from the Krembil Neuroscience Center, Toronto, Canada and Associate Professor Brian Kwon from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.  Local expert Prof Stuart Hodgetts from the University of Western Australia who has extensive knowledge and expertise in cell based translocation therapies for spinal cord injuries will contribute to our program.

Perth is a bright and warm city boasting the beautiful Swan River and a dynamic culture. At this meeting, we look forward to engaging in the highest level of academic presentations and discussions, always in a mutual atmosphere of respect.

The Society and I warmly invite the participation of the industry, which has supported the Society so well in 2012.
