Sejal Patel

Sejal Patelis is a community leader with a diverse expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Sales where she oversees the development of innovative algorithms. Prior to her current role, she held the position of Algorithm Development Directior, Innovation at Nevro. 

 

Dr. Ganesan Baranidharan

Dr Ganesan Baranidharan has been a Pain Medicine Consultant at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, United Kingdom, since 2006. He is the clinical lead for Pain Medicine. He holds an appointment as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds. 

 

Dr Baranidharan developed the Neuromodulation Centre in Leeds from a small service to one of the most signifcant units in Europe. He is active in research and teaching. Most of his research activities are on Neuropathic pain and Neuromodulation. He has a particular interest in managing the pain of visceral origin. He has significatnly contributed to developing a National Neuromodulation Registry for the United Kingdom and currently chairs the Data set Committee.

A Prof/ Marc Russo

Dr Marc Russo is a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. He is the Director of Hunter Pain Specialists, Genesis Research Services, Hamilton Day Surgery Centre, and Co-Director of the Innervate Pain Management Program. He specialises in spinal cord stimulation and has performed multiple successful world first device implants. He has also conducted numerous first-in-man pain and device clinical tirals. He is the President of the International Neuromodulation Society (INS) and Director at Large of the Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand (NSANZ). 

 

Dr Martyna Berwertz

Dr Berwertz is a highly regarded Pain Medicine specialist who is passionate about her patients and focused on delivering the best-tailored care. Her individual approach includes collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to empower patients to change the life of one suffering to one coping successfully with chronic conditions. Dr Berwertz advocated a holistic and well-balaced approach to pain management. Martyna fully understands the impact of chronic pain on an individual's life and is proud to be able to actively support patients in their journey.

Dr Richard Sullivan 

Dr Richard Sullivan is a Pain Medicine Specialist and Anaesthetist working with Precision Brain, Spine and Pain Centre. He has an interest in post surgical pain and neuromodulation. He was previously the head of the acute and interventional pain service at Peter McCallum Hospital in East Melbourne where he maintains an ongoing clinical role. His focus is now in clinical practice, research and advancing neuromodulation therapies in the private sector where he sees patients with a diverse range of conditions including post surgical pain syndromes in non cancer patients and cancer survivors.
