Following a successful Cadaver Workshop in March 2022 in Sydney, NSANZ is pleased to offer another hands-on Cadaver Workshops in August 2022 before the NSANZ ASM. It will will take place at VascuLab, Melbourne on Friday 12 August 2022.
Reading the feedback from the recent workshop, the education committee will tailor a program where each delegate can sign up for one or both workshops on neurostimulation and radiofrequency (RF) interventional pain procedures. The programs will each be a half day cadaver lab session (no didactic lectures) in both forms - RF procedures in the morning and neurostimulation in the afternoon.
The panel of educators will include NSANZ Executive Board Members and local faculty who will deliver a quality educational program with the support of our valued device companies.

The Radiofrequency (RF) Workshop
Focus on radiofrequency ablation technique of the spine (lumbar, sacral, thoracic and cervical). The workshop will also feature radiofrequency procedures for craniofacial pain, shoulder, hip and knee along with sympathetic plexus. Along with conventional RF, it will also feature cooled RF, pulsed RF and bipolar RF technique.
The Neurostimulation Workshop
Focus on various implanting techniques for thoracolumbar, sacral and cervical spinal stimulation. The workshop will also feature peripheral nerve stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, multifidus muscle stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery system, surgical implant and suturing station.
