Brain & Spinal Surgery Half Day Stream

Date: Sunday 8 April 2018
Time: 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm

This half day is designed to stimulate discerning thought and debate regarding two important subjects:

  • Novel and emerging aspects of intracranial neuromodulation and,
  • The evidence base for treatments of back and radicular pain in the degenerative spine

Although clearly of neurosurgical interest, each topic is of major relevance to many others including neurologists, Pain Management specialists of all backgrounds, spinal surgeons, rheumatologists, and rehabilitation physicians.

We have brought together an extremely talented and experienced group of speakers to share their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields and, it is hoped, to excite vigorous discussion regarding the value of surgery, best medical management, and neuromodulation in the treatment of the degenerative spine. Well reasoned debate on this issue is long overdue.

Whatever your discipline and interest in the topics for debate, we hope you will join us and take an active part in the proceedings.
