If there’s something about your shed that you’d like to share with the rest of Australia now is your chance. We are looking for people to share their stories about their sheds, and to demonstrate the activities that go on in your shed.

Sustainability is much more than a healthy bank balance. This session will cover new and unique approaches of implementing successful management processes as well as succession and strategic planning.
A successful marketing campaign can add enormous benefit to all aspects of a Men’s Shed, from membership recruitment through to donations and business sponsorship. This stream will focus on those who have been successful in developing and implementing such actions as well as innovative and unique forms of fund raising.
Male health initiative is embedded with Men’s Sheds, even though sometimes they are not even aware of it. This stream will focus on a variety of male health programs that are being developed by Men’s Sheds and the overall effect of sheds as a preventative health initiative.
The majority of Men’s Sheds are located in rural and regional areas. They provide much more than what was originally foreseen and have become a pinnacle hub for many communities. This stream will emphasise the importance of Men’s Sheds within rural communities and the role they play.
All sheds are unique, some more than others. This stream will hear from Sheds that have developed innovative and unique programs ranging from community engagement, health activities and products etc.
The Men’s Shed concept has gone global with over 250 sheds now in operation around the world. This presentation will focus on the spread of the Men’s Shed phenomena - how the Australian concept has been implemented within other cultures as an effective way of fund raising.
