The RACGP recognises that CPR skills are used infrequently and will thus diminish over time. As administrative staff may be present during a medical emergency, they need to be trained in CPR to assist the medical team.
CPR training that is solely online does not meet the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) requirements for the physical demonstration of skills by trainees at the completion of the CPR course.
The RACGP and ARC recommend general practice professionals should complete CPR training annually. At the very least, the RACGP Standards recommend undertaking a refresher in CPR competence every three years.
A CPR Course has been organised at the conclusion of LCMC 2018.

PAYMENT
Cancellation Policy for Registration
If notification of cancellation is made in writing to the Conference Secretariat, prior to 1 September 2018, a full refund will be provided (less $150 processing fee). No refund will be given after this date, although a substitute delegate will be accepted.
Cancellation of Accommodation
There is no guarantee that cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will receive a full refund as the Sofitel Brisbane Central, reserves the right to charge a fee equal to 1 nights accommodation or the full duration of the stay on any rooms cancelled within 30 days of the accommodation arrival date.
