Dr Les Brown is the joint owner of The Elizabeth Medical Centre and The Elizabeth Laser and Cosmetic Medicine Centre situated in Miller Street, North Sydney. Dr Brown is a graduate of the University of Sydney (1976) and also holds a Diploma in Dermatology (University of Cardiff, Wales). Dr Brown is a qualified Diving Medical Examiner and has special interest in Travel Medicine, Sclerotherapy and Cosmetic Laser Procedures.

Dr Sharron Phillipson is a graduate of the University of Newcastle (1984) & a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Sharron also has a Diploma in Dermatology (University if Cardiff, Wales) and a Diploma in Laser Surgery & Medicine (American Board of Laser Surgery). Her special interests are Cosmetic  Medicine, Women's Health. She leads the Elizabeth Laser & Cosmetic Medicine Centre and North Sydney Medical Centre and Skin Cancer Clinic, both in Sydney.

Dr Varcoe received his medical degree at Melbourne University in 1979. After a satisfying career in General Practice, he then commenced full time work in the emerging specialty of Phlebology (venous disorders). He trained under Dr Paul Thibault, who was the founding President of The Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP). Since opening the The Leg Vein Clinic, Gold Coast, in 1995, he has been actively involved in education and he has presented papers at both national and international conferences (learn more from professional organisation appointments and professional society presentations links on our site). He wasone of the first practitioners to offer Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy treatment and introduced Endovenous Laser Ablation into Queensland in 2005. He joined The VeinDoctors Group in May 2015 and now practices out of the Miami Day Hospital, Gold Coast, Queensland.

 Dr Varcoe has been a Member of the Sclerotherapy Society of Australia (SSA) since 1995, Council Member of the SSA since 1998 and Vice President of SSA (now ACP) from 1999 - 2002. He is one of only four Fellows of the Australian College of Phlebology in Queensland. He was one of the two Conference Convenors for the 6th Annual Scientific conference for the ACP. He has a particular interest in training of doctors wishing to learn about phlebology and conducts regular preceptorships to provide one-on-one training for doctors.
