Aesthetics in practice; Managing common vascular and pigmentation concerns with optimal results
Dermatologist Dr Wonserk Kim, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor and chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine (Seoul, Korea) has treated patients with challenging concerns in pigmentation and vascular malformations that you will see in your aesthetic practice. Professor Kim will share his experience as well as treatment practices at our Breakfast Forum.
Dr Wonserk Kim (M.D, PhD) is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine and is the Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, Seoul, Korea. Professor Kim majors in skin surgery and laster treatments, he has a strong interest in scar and keloid studies and has published a number of articles on these topics.

Dr Michael Molton one of two doctors who were founders of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia in 1997, has been performing cosmetic medical procedures since 1995. Dr Molton has been practising Coolsculpting at epiclinic® in Adelaide since its introduction to Australia in 2012. Since then, he has supervised well over 1,200 procedures and in February introduced Dualsculpting to Adelaide. He attended Zeltiq’s facility in Pleasanton, California.in March 2015. Dr Molton holds a Diploma in Lipoplasty and has authored articles such as Safety of Liposuction, Correlates of dysmorphic concern in people seeking cosmetic enhancement and Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in a patient taking Amitriptyline. Dr Molton is an accomplished speaker and is an advocate of the principles of the medical model in cosmetic medicine. Currently Dr Molton is Assistant Research Investigator in an Australian Research Council funded project at the University of Western Australia on 3D imaging in cosmetic medicine.
Dr Charl du Plessis obtained his medical degree at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa, in 1996. He then joined the army where he nurtured his passion for emergency medicine and adventure. Charl continued working in emergency medicine until 2000 when he started shifting his interests to cosmetic medicine. He worked in a mixture of GP, emergency & cosmetic practices in South Africa, Angola and Mozambique until moving to Australia in 2006. Since Charl obtained his GP Fellowship in 2012 and completed his international medical graduate moratorium in remote WA, he found his way back to cosmetic medicine and is now working towards his fellowship with the CPCA (Cosmetic Physician College of Australia), ACAM (Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine) and A5M (AustralAsian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine). Charl is currently working full time in his own Cosmetic Practice in Perth CBD.
