Letter of Invitation for Visa Requirements
Please note that our policy is to only issue a letter of invitation to an international delegate once registration and full payment has been received. A letter of invitation from the conference does not guarantee entry into Australia. Please email the Conference Secretariat to request a letter of invitation after your registration and payment has been submitted.
A group discount of 15% off per registration is available for groups of ten or more non-member delegates from the same organisation registering for the full conference. In the event of cancellation, if the group reduces to less than ten delegates, the full registration fee will apply to all registrations. Please note the discount does not apply on student registrations. Please email the Conference Secretariat for more information on how to access the group registration discount.
Carers day will be held on Tuesday, 13 November 2018. Registration is open to carers of those with FTD (Frontotemporal Dementia) along with members of related associations and individuals with an interest in dementia. We also welcome registrations from individuals diagnosed with FTD but recommend they be accompanied by a family member or a friend.

Cancellation Policy for Registration
If notification of cancellation is made in writing to the Conference Secretariat prior to 27 July 2018, a full refund will be given (less a $150 processing fee). After this date, no refund will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted. Refunds for registration add-ons (dinners etc) will be given at the discretion of the Conference Secretariat
Cancellation Policy for Accommodation
Cancellation of hotel bookings should be made through the Conference Secretariat in writing. For any guaranteed rooms cancelled within 30 days, a charge equal to one night’s accommodation per room booking will apply. All guaranteed rooms cancelled at or within 14 days prior to arrival will incur 100% cancellation fee, this being the number or room nights cancelled times the accommodation rate.
Photography
There will be photographs taken throughout the conference and at the social events. These may be used for promotional activities, including the website and on social media. If you do not want your photograph taken, or used, please notify the photographer onsite at your earliest convenience.
