Abstract submissions for 7th Biennial AusACPDM Conference 2014 will open April 2015 and close
5pm AEST Monday 3 August 2015. Submissions are being sought for free papers, posters (in both electronic and printed formats), workshops, breakfast sessions and PhD platform presentations on the following topics:

Presentation Formats
Abstract submissions will be accepted for paper presentations, scientific posters, workshops, breakfast sessions and PhD platform presentation.
Paper Presentation (podium presentation) is a 10-minute oral presentation in English. One digital projector, laptop computer, and one large screen will be provided. If you are including a video in the presentation, an embedded video is more effective. Presenters must be prepared to discuss their paper in response to audience questions at the end of each session in a joint question time.
Scientific Posters display your work in a concise form, enabling conference attendees to grasp the essentials of the subject in a reasonable time frame. Scientific posters are prepared in English, and displayed in BOTH printed (paper or cloth) and electronic formats on large flat screens in PowerPoint. In addition, the delegates receive a link to an electronic copy of your poster, they will be able to view the posters post event and make further contact with you as the author.
Workshops (interactive presentations) are 90-minutes in length, providing formal but interactive instruction for continuing professional education, presenting an update on a theme/ area of clinical research and its clinical implications or presenting/ justifying/ training in a group of therapies (offering different constructs or methods). One digital projector, laptop computer, and one large screen will be provided. Other equipment must be requested individually. An embedded video is the preferred method for showing video clips. Interactive activities are preferred by conference delegates and reflect best-available knowledge translation evidence for teaching session. Workshops are to be presented in English.
Breakfast Sessions (instructional courses) are 45-60 minutes in length, providing formal instruction for continuing professional education, presenting an update on a theme/ area of clinical research and its clinical implications or presenting/ justifying/ training in a group of therapies (offering different constructs or methods). One digital projector, laptop computer, and one large screen will be provided. Other equipment must be requested individually. An embedded video is the preferred method for showing video clips.
PhD Platform
The opportunity to present a PhD Platform presentation will be awarded to the AusACPDM member/s considered the most meritorious PhD candidates.
