Shannon is a Senior Physiotherapist with over 20 years clinical experience within neurological rehabilitation, including working with people with FND. She works part-time in the Division of Rehabilitation, located at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, South Australia and is currently undertaking a part-time PhD.

Rowena Holmes is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in persistent pain, acquired brain injury, and functional neurological disorders in children and adults. She has over 14 years’ experience across government health services, NGOs, and private practice in Australia and the UK. She previously ran a multidisciplinary inpatient program for FND as Senior Clinical Psychologist at The Bethlem Royal Hospital in London. Since returning to Australia, Rowena has held senior psychologist roles at SALHN Pain Management Unit, and Brain Injury SA, alongside running her private practice. As a Board-approved supervisor, she also supervises Clinical and Health Psychology Registrars and Masters students.

Central Adelaide Local Health Network

Michelle is an Advanced Clinician – Clinical/Health Psychologist at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. She has worked in pain management since 2003, with experience in both adult and paediatric services. She is endorsed in Clinical and Health Psychology, and is a board-approved Psychology Supervisor. Michelle also lectures on pain management at Master’s level. She has particular interests in pelvic pain, and the use of mindfulness and hypnosis in pain management.
