Posters should be in place by 10:30am on Monday 14 April 2025 and will be displayed for the duration of the conference in the Exhibition Hall. Posters must be printed in A0 portrait, presenters are asked to bring their own ‘hook and loop’ velcro to affix their posters to the display wall.

The certificates will be emailed to all delegates shortly after the conference; no hard copies will be available. Please contact the Conference Secretariat if you need to update your email address.

The attendance certificate will note the number of educational hours completed. You will need this certificate to apply for CPD accreditation points through your chosen college. We recommend delegates self-record as colleges differ in their professional development point systems.

Conference Feedback

Delegates will be emailed a link to a daily evaluation at the end of each day; participation is appreciated. Feedback is important to ensure changes and improvements are made to future conferences. Delegates who complete the evaluations can go into the running to win a complimentary registration to the 2026 Australian Pain Society 46th Annual Scientific Meeting.

Onsite Behaviour

Ethical behaviour of APS Members & ASM Delegates
Our community is strengthened by the diverse and intersecting stories and experiences of all the clinicians, researchers, and people with pain who allow us to learn from them. The APS is committed to nurturing a culture where all individuals are and feel included, listened to, valued, and respected. The APS has zero tolerance towards any forms of discrimination, either through action or language, based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion, disability, or age. To review the full policy, please click here.

Sustainability

Lanyards
The lanyards that will be available to delegates onsite have been made from environmentally sustainable bamboo. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to reuse lanyards and so instead encourage delegates to bring their own lanyards from home, where possible.

Reusable Cups
We all know how much that morning coffee helps get us through that first plenary session of the morning, but we urge all delegates to bring their reusable coffee cups with them. If every delegate used a reusable coffee cup instead of a one-use takeaway option we could save over 2000 cups going into landfill at APS 2025 alone!

Bottled Water
We also ask all delegates to bring a reusable water bottle with them to the conference. Water will, of course, be available throughout the event, however only glasses and jugs will be offered.

Satchels
The APS ASM does not supply conference satchels. We hope delegates and exhibitors will support our move away from offering something we are increasingly told “ends up in the bin”! We encourage exhibitors to offer digital copies of their sales materials. We also encourage all delegates to dig through your cupboards and find a past APS ASM satchel to bring along!
