One of the top new restaurants in Hobart, Suzie Luck’s brings a unique Southeast Asian twist to the best and freshest of Tasmanian produce. Suzie Luck’s is a local family-owned enterprise presenting authentic tastes of Thailand, Vietnam and their close neighbours. Enjoy a shared banquet meal and drinks, with friends and colleagues interested in basic pain research or pain in childhood.

Delegates don’t have to be a member of the SIGs to join, everyone is welcome.

Cost: Delegates will receive a complimentary drink card in their registration pack, no reservation is required. 

Just a short stroll from the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Post Street Social is a waterfront bar with food for sharing. The wine list showcases some Tasmanian favourites, and their beers span across the staple lagers to some quirky craft producers. Enjoy a complimentary beer or wine at the end of the first day of conference. Stay on and share a meal with your colleagues or new friends.

MONA Excursion

0 - 3 years old: Free (Registration still required)

It wouldn't be a trip to Hobart without a trip to one of the most infamous museums of the world!

From the Brooke St Pier, hop on board MR-I or MR-II, one of MONA’s camouflaged catamarans, visit one of the on-board bars and take a seat on a tiger or a sheep for the 25 minute trip to MONA. Once there you will have about 3 hours to explore the museum before taking the 5.00 pm ferry back to Brooke St Pier.
