All speakers are encouraged to use their own PowerPoint templates, set in 16:9 widescreen format so it will work correctly on the venue screen.The session room will include standard audio visual equipment including a laptop and data projection.
Please contact the Conference Secretariat if you require the presentation upload link to be resent.
Before you upload the presentation please rename the file as
conference_day_time_First Initial_Last Name
i.e- APS_Wed_0900_J_Smith.pptx
When uploading please include these details in the message section:
- Conference Name, Speakers Full Name, Presentation Day and Time
If your presentation includes any video or audio files please also upload these.
In addition, presentations and any video or audio files should also be downloaded on to a USB stick and brought with you on the day of your presentation.
We ask that all speakers visit the Speaker Preparation Room at the GCCEC at least 2 hours prior to your session even if your presentation is pre-loaded.
Note: All Audio Advice computers are running Windows 10 with the latest version of Powerpoint.

Sunday 7 April: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Monday 8 April: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday 9 April: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 10 April: 7:00am -1:30pm

Poster walk around sessions will take place immediately following the lunch breaks on both Monday and Tuesday of the conference.
During these sessions hard copy posters will be judged, please stand by your poster should delegates or the judges have any questions with regards to your research.
The Australian Pain Society will offer a prize of $500 for the best poster. Assessment will be based on content and presentation. The judges will be appointed by the Scientific Program Committee and their decision will be final. The winner will be announced on the last day of the Scientific Meeting, on Wednesday 10 April 2019. Please note, only hard copy posters will be judged and considered for the prize.
Hard copy posters should be printed in AO Portrait (1,189mm high x 841mm wide). Presenters are required to bring their own hook-and-loop velcro for attachment to the board (double sided tape or blu tac are not suitable). Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors’ names. Ensure that they are the same as in the submitted abstract. The text, illustrations etc should be bold enough to read from a distance of 1-2 meters.
Posters are to be in-place by 8am on Monday 8 April 2019 and will be displayed for the duration of the conference in the exhibition hall, Hall 1 at GCCEC. Posters can be set up from 6pm on Sunday 7 April 2019. We will then ask for your poster to be removed by the end of morning tea on Wednesday 10 April 2019, please note if you do not pick up your poster it will be discarded by the venue.
We recommend uploading a digital copy of your Poster to Twitter using the #AusPainSoc ahead of or during the event.
