Abstract Guidelines

Abstract Submission Guidelines for the 2nd Australian and New Zealand Pituitary Alliance Meeting (ANZPA) 2024.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we invite you to submit your abstract/s for presentation at the ANZPA Meeting to be held at the Sofitel Gold Coast from 26 – 28 July 2024.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Meeting’s Committee and acceptances will be sent via email.

Submitted abstracts must represent original work that has not been previously published. Upon acceptance, the Committee expects the author to present the material and scientific data appearing in the submitted abstract. The data must not be modified or updated for the presentation without the prior written approval of the Committee. 

 Instructions to submit an abstract

  • Abstracts must be submitted using the abstract submission portal using the word template provided and uploaded in PDF form in the portal
  • Abstracts are limited to 3000 characters (including title, spaces and tables). Tables are counted as 500 characters. Authors and affiliations are not included
  • Title: Please ensure that it is as informative as possible
  • Themes:  Clinical cases relevant to the meeting themes and research abstracts (not limited to the themes) will be accepted. The options in the abstract form will be based on themes listed below
    • Craniopharyngiomas
    • Genetics
    • Radiation
    • Sellar region lesions
    • Research (all areas)
  •  Inclusions: The Abstract must include the following headings:
    • Aim; Method; Results; Conclusion
  • Results must be included. Using the statement “results will be presented” is not satisfactory
  • All research should have been conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, or have received ethics approval
  • Video abstract submissions (of up to five minutes) will be considered at the discretion of the Scientific Convenor. Video abstract submissions must include a written abstract in addition to the video file. Contact the Conference Secretariat via email to anzpa@dccam.com.au.

Monday 10 June 2024 - Abstract Outcome emailed
25 March 2024 – Early Bird Registrations Open
Friday 30 June 2024 – Early Bird closes (Presenters must be registered or their presentation will be withdrawn from the program).
