Program
This will be a hands-on workshop with patients that includes Ultrasound Guided instruction, with a number of Ultrasound machines for use.
The Workshop is aimed at Rehabilitation Medicine Trainees or Fellows who require initial instruction or who wish to repeat their training. It is also available to Senior Rehabilitation Physicians who would like a refresher on Botulinum Toxin injecting and the opportunity to use ultrasound to guide injections. Participants will have the opportunity to use any of the three currently registered botulinum toxin brands and discuss their idiosyncrasies with the facilitators and representatives of companies
Learning objectives are improved Confidence of Workshop attendees with the handling and administration of Botulinum Toxin preparations and injection guidance with emg / Neurostimulator or ultrasound guidance.
